Christ Church Episcopal School (CCES) is an independent, co‑ed day school serving Primer (Kindergarten) through 12th grade on a 94‑acre campus in Greenville, South Carolina. The Lower School follows the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB‑PYP) with core subjects English, Reading, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and language study in Spanish and German for Native Speakers. The IB Learner Profile guides learning across divisions, fostering inquiry, knowledge, communication and global-mindedness. Middle School delivers hands-on, inquiry‑driven learning with spaces such as the Wetlands Lab and the TIDE Lab (Technology, Innovation, Design, & Entrepreneurship). Upper School offers Advanced Placement courses and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB‑DP); about 20 percent of each class elects IB, with GOA online courses available for credit. In May 2026, 196 CCES students took 462 AP exams, 94 percent scoring 3 or higher. Facilities include Hartness Performing Arts Center, McCall Field House, Carson Stadium, and also the Chapel.
