You can learn more about the program during this process. 3) Age eligibility by September 1. Admissions require that students meet the minimum age for their grade by September 1. Kindergarten is 5 years old by September 1; 1st grade is 6 years old by September 1; 2nd grade is 7; 3rd grade is 8; 4th grade is 9; 5th grade is 10; 6th grade is 11; 7th grade is 12; 8th grade is 13; 9th grade is 14; 10th grade is 15; and 11th grade is 16. Students beginning 12th grade should contact the admissions office for enrollment specifics. 4) Non-discrimination and capacity. Hinkson Christian Academy welcomes students of every race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students. It does not discriminate in admissions or scholarship programs, but has limited capacity for students with severe learning difficulties, severe physical limitations, severe behavioral disorders, or records of discipline.
