Admissions
1. Admission requirements. Entrance to VIHS is based on the results of O level, IGCSE and SSC examinations (or equivalents). Grades A, A, B and C are pass grades, and VIHS will consider examinations taken in the last two years (August 2022 or later). Criteria A requires a minimum of 8 subjects with a C grade or above; Criteria B requires a minimum of 5 subjects with a C grade or above; Criteria C requires a minimum of 3 subjects with a C grade or above; Criteria D applies after a student interview, with an assessment if needed. 2. Subjects offered. The maximum number of subjects a student can choose is 7. English is offered as a Second Language (Cambridge IGCSE), with CAE and CPE options for eligible students. Dhivehi Language and Islamic Studies are offered as national HSC subjects. Mathematics can be studied with Science, Business, or BTEC streams.
