Admissions

Admissions
1. Applications open on December 15 for the next school year. The deadline to submit an application is March 15 of the intended entry year. Applications are accepted for all NIS campuses. 2. Applications can be submitted online by filling out the Online Application Form in the Admissions menu, or you may apply in person at any campus admissions office from Sundays to Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The campus offices provide in-person options for families who prefer to apply on-site. 3. A one-time enrollment fee is required for all new students and is non-refundable. If the school rejects the application, the enrollment fee is refunded. The enrollment fee accompanies the submission of the application. 4. The application form must be completed thoroughly and submitted along with other required documents. Incomplete applications may not be considered. 5. An admissions officer will meet separately with the student and parent(s)/guardian(s). The interview is an evaluative session to discuss goals and fit. Typical duration is 30–40 minutes, with upper-grade interviews lasting not less than 2 hours. 6. For KG1 and KG2, required documents include a completed application form, six recent photos of the student, an original electronic birth certificate, and one photocopy of both parents' IDs. An original stamped end-of-year academic report for the two years prior is also required, and for mid-year transfers an original stamped report from the current school is needed. For Grades 9–11 in the American Program, an official transcript of high school courses and credits is required. 7. Mid-year transfers are possible, provided there is proof that the student is not expelled and is in good academic and behavioral standing. Transfers are considered in light of space availability and the current cohort, and additional information or documents may be requested as part of the review. 8. The application pool is highly competitive; on average, NIS receives at least 5,000 applications per campus each year. 9. Campus visits are welcome by appointment with the Admissions Office, scheduled at least one week before the intended visit. 10. Language support is provided for students with limited English proficiency, but a basic standard of English proficiency is required at the time of application. 11. Scholarships
FMAI Scholarship Program offers two types of scholarships: Academic Scholarship and Athletic Scholarship.
